Just as Sir Alan has commenced the search for his next Apprentice, The Oxford Trust is seeking Year 12 students who are keen to participate in the Venturefest Apprentice.

Venturefest 2008 announces Keynotes
Venturefest has announced its two Keynote speakers for 2008. The ever-popular enterprise forum takes place this year on 30 June & 1 July at Oxford’s Unipart Group of Companies and will host opening and closing keynotes by Lord Sainsbury and Dr Mike Grocott, the leader of the “Cauldwell Xtreme Everest” team of doctors and scientists that climbed Everest in 2007.

Opportunity to exhibit for free at Venturefest 2008
Small and early-stage science and technology companies will yet again have the opportunity to exhibit at Venturefest for free this year. The Technology Showcase Exhibition, taking place on Tuesday 1 July, will provide a forum for early-stage companies and individual entrepreneurs to show off their products and to meet potential funders.

Venturefest set to celebrate 10 successful years
Venturefest is back for a 10th year in 2008 – to celebrate enterprise and innovation and promote the commercialisation of new technology. Launched in Oxford in 1999, Venturefest has become synonymous with the provision of vital – and free – professional tools, resources and advice, proving an essential diary date for anyone who is developing or growing their business in the UK today.
