Conversations with Experts

One-to-one problem solving with experienced experts – book your clinic session at the Venturefest registration desk

Having picked up lots of ideas from Venturefest, this session provides participants with the opportunity to have a one-to-one problem-solving meeting with an experienced expert. We are delighted to have the services of a range of experts who really have ‘been there and done it’ repeatedly. They don’t just have the t-shirts to prove it but, more importantly, the successful businesses that they have helped to build.

Amongst the 20 experts we hope to have available will be Tim Cook, with all his experience gained from growing the University of Oxford’s technology transfer company, Isis Innovation Ltd, into one of the best in the world; David Denny of Oxford Technology Management, with vast international experience of all aspects of growing technology businesses; John Boyle, co-founder and MD of Oxford Computer consultants; Zhuk Yuri who started with a PhD in Plasma Physics and went on to get his company, Hardide, AIM listed.

Full details of all the experts will be available at Venturefest. Those wanting a session with one of the experts will check in on the day to be given a ticket for a particular expert at a particular time. During the session itself we will have lots of staff on hand to match up the experts with their visitors and to make sure the whole process runs to time.

During the 10 minutes you have with an expert, they will either solve your problem or advise you where to get the help you need to solve it.
